Dr. Michael E. Graham
developed the Graham International Implant InstituteTM
in August of 2006 to help set and elevate the standard fo care
in the arena of subtalar arthroereisis surgery. He is a 1994
graduate from the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine
and completed a two-year podiatric surgical residency at Kern
Hospital for Special Surgery in Warren Michigan.
Dr. Graham, still in private practice, has performed hundreds of
subtalar arthroereisis procedures and wanted to share his
knowledge and expertise to other foot and ankle surgeons. He
developed the HyProCureTM
sinus tarsi implant due to significant limitations of other
sinus tarsi implants and founded GraMedicaTM
in 2003. He has lectured all across the country on subtalar
arthroereisis surgery and has trained hundreds of physicians,
nationally and internationally, to perform this surgery.
However, he realized that this is such a specialized procedure
that it required more than just a lecture and cadaver workshop
associated withageneral foot and ankle seminar. So "Your
Passport to Subtalar Arthroereisis" was developed.
Dr. Graham is member of the American Podiatric Medical
Associations, Michigan Podiatric Medical Association, a Diplomat
of the American Board of Podiatric Surgery, and Fellow, American
College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He maintains private
practices in Birmingham and Shelby Township, Michigan. Dr.
Graham currently has two patents to his name and has other
patents in the works. He has always wanted to be a "foot doctor"
since the age of 6 and truly has a passion for his profession
and wants to bring foot and ankle care to a new standard of
care.
