The attendee will fly into Detroit Metro Airport (DTW) Wednesday afternoon/evening where a driver who will assist them with their luggage will meet them at the gate. The attendee will then be taken to the hotel where they will be greeted by a member of the GIII staff, hotel arrangements will be pre-arranged. Wednesday evening there will be an opening reception at the hotel at 7:00 P.M., please dress in causal attire.

Thursday morning breakfast will be at the hotel until 8:30 A.M. when the attendees will be taken to the lecture hall. Please wear the GIII polo shirt provided Wednesday. Lectures will start promptly at 9:00 until 11:00 when there will be a short break to check messages, etc. Lunch will be from 11:30 to 12:30, at which time there will be case study presentations. Lecture series will continue from 12:30 to 2:30 after which will be another break, during which the cadaver workshop will be set-up. The hands-on cadaver workshop will begin at 3:00 and end at 4:00. The group will have another break until 4:30 PM after which there will be a certification exam.

Upon completion of the exam the attendees will be taken back to hotel where they will change clothes and get ready for dinner. Transportation will pick the attendee up at the hotel at 6:30 PM for dinner at a nice restaurant.

Friday, breakfast is until 6:45 AM at which time the driver will depart the hotel for the hospital. The attendee must wear the GIII scrubs given out Wednesday night. There will be “live” surgical observations from 7:00 to noon. Groups of surgeons will rotate into the operating room to see Dr. Graham perform subtalar arthroereisis procedures. Physicians who are not in the operating room will be able to view the surgeries via video conferencing. After the last surgery, the group will have lunch at the hospital and concluding remarks and questions will be addressed. The attendees will then change at the hospital and will be transported back to the airport by 1:00 PM. It will take approximately one and one-half hours to get to the airport from the hospital.
